Annamaya Kosha is the outermost sheath, the body formed of food. It is the physical structure sustained by nourishment, movement, and rest. Through it, we experience sensation, action, and the material world. Balance in this sheath supports vitality and grounded presence; imbalance may appear as illness, lethargy, or disconnection from the body.
Try this: Place one hand on your belly and the other on your chest. Breathe slowly and thank your body for carrying you through this day.
