✨ Five Kosha Awareness Meditation (Panchakosha)

The ancient yogic map of the panchakosha describes five “sheaths” or layers of our being. Each layer is a doorway into presence. In this meditation, we journey inward step by step, listening to what each kosha reveals.

  1. Annamaya Kosha — The Physical Body
Awareness begins with the body: posture, weight, sensation. We honor the form that carries us through the world.
  2. Pranamaya Kosha — The Breath/Energy Body
Beneath the skin, the current of prana flows. We attune to the rhythm of breath, feeling energy move and nourish.
  3. Manomaya Kosha — The Mental/Emotional Body
Thoughts and feelings rise and fall like waves. Here we notice without judgment, letting the mind’s chatter soften.
  4. Vijnanamaya Kosha — The Wisdom Body
Beyond thought is the quiet voice of intuition and insight. Presence deepens as clarity arises from stillness.
  5. Anandamaya Kosha — The Bliss Body
At the innermost layer, awareness rests in joy and spaciousness. This is the heart of being, where we touch the sacred.
